Must You Be Tan To Be Fashionable?

{photo via Mr. Newton } Let's face it ladies. We all want to be tan and I know the reason why. It is a proven fact that when you are tan you appear at least ten pounds lighter. Why is that, you ask? It is totally an optical illusion. A tan makes things look more even, more streamlined and it covers imperfections. Trust me, just because you are tan you really are NOT actually any healthier or skinnier than what you are. Did you hear some of those key words I just said? LOOK. APPEAR. COVERS. Those are words that mean that things aren't actually what they are.  What is actually happening when you tan is that you are damaging everything your body already has going for it. How To Keep Your Independence Day Look Classy

When we dress in a theme it can tend to look tacky. But we all want to celebrate and show our love for our country on Independence Day by wearing red, white and blue! So, how do you stay classy? Below are some Fourth of July style tips for you. Keep it casual and cool. What I love about this look and all the looks in this blog post is the fact that you could wear all of these looks any day. No Sweat Summer Style

 Remember that we were all begging for this heat in February? No complaints here! Below are three of my favorite fantastic looks for those hazy days of summer. Confused By Fashion?

Laura's Style was on hiatus for a couple of months. But I am proud to announce that I am back ladies! Here to help you with your every day fashion dilemmas. We all have them and that's nothing to be ashamed of. Fashion can be confusing. There seems to be so many "rules". Well, I am here to tell you that the fashion "rules" that you hear of are ones that should and must be broken, but at the same time stay true to yourself and put your best self out there in the world. Do it for you, and no one else. That is when your true style personality will shine through! That doesn't necessarily mean, the funkier your style the better.
