Oh The Excitement!

Spring has not exactly sprung yet, but it is time to prepare! How are you going to prepare? Will it be a new spring wardrobe, a new pair of shoes, a new spring jacket, or a new HANDBAG??? The last choice was my choice. (last but definitely not least) I am celebrating spring with this new cross body bag by Matt & Nat. I love the zipper detail. It gives off a bit of an edgy vibe which should balance any feminine pieces that I wear. I am especially excited about this bag after reading about what Matt & Nat stand for. They are totally eco-friendly. The lining of all their bags are made from recycled plastic water bottles. There is a message inside each bag that tells you exactly how many bottles were recycled to produce your perfect accessory. The outside is made of an eco-friendly synthetic leather. I have read a few reviews about this particular bag because I love the zipper detail, but I was afraid that they might be sharp and snag my clothes. I have been told that this is not a...

Time For Your Top 10 Spring Trends! Here is #8: UTILITARIAN CHIC

This seasons Utilitarian looks are so fashionable, but we all know that they were intended to be very useful and practical. Finally a fashion statement that is justifiable! You gotta love it;-) This Memoir Military Cardigan from Forever 21 is sooooo cool. This I could do...hence the ruffles trim on the bottom and on the sleeves. Another must from Talbots. The black and white shirt dress is mine! BCBG. Jumpsuits are so chic. This little beaut is by Prada. I might have needed this if I hadn't already splurged last spring on my Burberry double breasted khaki utility dress. This is a super duper cool cotton utility pea coat by Banana Republic. Tory Burch Dior

I Am Loving the Look of Green and Coral. Mixing And Matching The Two Could Be Fun!

These two colors really bring the spirits up! They remind me of someplace far away. Someplace exotic. Someplace that I go in my head while wearing the two together........... This ring by Licia Atelier really caught my eye. It is made of Sterling silver, amazonite, and coral. You can purchase it online by going to http://www.licia.com.br/ $90 These Vintage Chanel Earrings are simply smashing. If you must have them you can go to http://www.veryvintage.com/ . I won't bother telling you the cost;-) And this lipstick pictured above is my must have of lipstick of the season. It is a color created by fashion designer Chris Benz and Lamcome for this spring. It is the perfect peachy pink shade and looks great on everyone. You can wear it light or almost neon. Good luck finding it though. I think I am a little late but I still told the lady at the Lancome counter at Saks Fifth Avenue to call me if one becomes available. So in other words, I am on a waiting list!! She asked me how many ...

Are You Ready For An 'Eyefull?'

Be on the lookout for these up and coming 'eye friendly' fashions. Now it is incredibly chic to wear glasses! There are quite a few labels that are putting out their own styles of readers. I almost can't wait to have to wear them! Actually, come to think of it, things are starting to look a little blurry to me lately...........;-) These are my favorite readers so far from the affordable contemporary line, Kensie. Banana Republic has quite a selection. I am just loving these cool clear frames by J Crew. Make sure you stay on alert with this trend. There will most likely be more to come. I heard that Talbots is also testing readers in some of their stores. Testing??? Why do they have to test them? We all know they are totally cool!

Time For Your Top 10 Spring Trends! Here is #7: STUNNING SILVER BRACELETS

Everyone knows that your outfit is not complete without accessories. That is why one of the freshest Spring trends for 2010 is sporting a Stunning Silver Bracelet. These happen to be my top three favorites. I love this trend because this is something that never will go out of style for me. These are works of art that I would sport for years to come! This top photo is a masterpiece by Elizabeth and James. It kind of reminds me of the way the trees look outside right now. A naked canvas ready to bloom into an abundance of shades of green. I did not want to post another bracelet by the same designer but I just couldn't help it with this one. This is yet another by Elizabeth and James and it's a tough choice but this one is my pick. It's something about that feather being 70's chic. I also like the hint of gold. This adoring piece is actually three separate bracelets by Ippolita. Their delicateness is what I love and they look super cool worn all together.

Vintagey Floral Dresses

Right now I am obsessing over vintagey floral dresses. You know, the kind that you find quite plentiful hanging on racks upon racks at your local resale shops because most ladies think they went out of style a long time ago. You and I know better though;-) If worn right, these dresses are new, fresh, and fabulous. But we will keep that our little secret and keep hoping that they are going to keep giving those dresses away. There are so many to choose from at my local Good Will store. All they need is a little styling. Some might need a little belt, others might need a change of buttons or to be paired with the right shoes. You get the idea. If you know how to wear it no one will know how old it is. Here I have posted a few inspirational photos of old new styles for you to gaze at..............

Time For Your Top 10 Spring Trends! Here is #6: LONG STRAP BAGS

These two pictures are of my new Nine West long strap bag and I am just loving it! It goes with almost everything and I love the pleating detail. It makes it just a little more feminine. And for the best part, it was on sale at Macy's for $50! Long Strap Bags are the way to go this Spring 2010! I am loving this style of bag. Trust me, I am really getting used to having my hands free and I am sure you know what I'm talking about after lugging that big bag around town yourself! Unfortunately I am not able to fit everything that I need to bring to work in this bag so I am still carrying around my terrific Tory Burch Tote (which is going to last me forever by the way) with all my winter gear, my lunch, and of course a change of shoes. It's sooo durable. But getting back to the long strap bags, they are just great for carrying on your shoulder or across your body. Trust me, you will look sooo incredibly fashionable even when you are grocery shopping! No more putting your handba...
