Are You Afraid of Snakes?

{Michael Kors Colette shoulder bag} Fall is no time to be scared of snakes. Those cute little slithery guys are a fashionista's best friend! There is one thing you should know. The bags and the shoes that you see are not really the actual skin of a snake. It is a snake skin EMBOSSED LEATHER that you are actually carrying around or wearing on your feet. Feel better now? I know I do! These bags are supper cool. These are my top three snake skin EMBOSSED LEATHER handbags for fall 2010. I have to say that I am partial to the Brahmin Lady Anaconda bag myself ;) {Brahmin Lady Anaconda bag} {Talbots snake embossed clutch and Mae snake embossed satchel. Put On Your Blue Suede Pumps!

{Yves Saint Laurent $720} The anniversary of Elvis's death is coming up this month.{August 16th}If you are obsessed with Elvis then that could be your reason for having to own these fabulous Yves Saint Laurent blue suede shoes! Yes, Elvis is cool. But my reason for having to own a pair of blue suede pumps this fall is mostly just because they will make my little black pencil skirt look a little less classic and transform it into something more current. Plus they are such a gorgeous rich color. They will put a little freshness into every step! Here are some more affordable blue suede pumps that are available right now. On the left we have a pair by Charles David $120 and to the right Franco Sarto for $89.

Who Says Grey Is Drab?

{Photo courtesy of House of Lavande} Grey doesn't have to be boring and drab. Some say that grey sucks the life out of us and can make our skin look sickly. Well, it can. But it can also be beautiful when worn with other vibrant colors. (and the right make up:) It reminds me of how the trees look against the grey sky right before a thunderstorm or a sun shower. The light from the sun makes the grey sky glow and reflects upon the treetops creating a very vibrant sea of greenery. How lovely! {Anthropologie} {Anthropologie} {Anthropologie} Who Says Grey Is Drab? by LauraLy featuring Marc by Marc Jacobs dresses

What is GLAMOROUS??? Part II

Here I am back again to give you just a few more tips on how YOU can feel Glamorous in YOUR every day life. You know that when you feel Glamorous you almost feel like a different woman. You should still feel like you, just a tad bit elevated. The key is to subtly infuse little hints of Glam into your look. Such as a hint of silk under a blazer as Cameron Diaz is wearing in the top photo. This jump suit by Chloe {upper left} is a piece that screams Glamorous. You could tone it down for daytime by throwing on a little denim jacket over it or you could wear a shoe like these super sexy Dior Duo Stamped Python Pumps {upper right} photo for an evening affair. Love it!!!!  Long leather gloves are another way to Glam it up when the weather gets cooler. As we know it is difficult to look Glamorous when it gets cold outside. We just want to be warm! Well, skip the ski gloves (unless you are skiing of course:) and get Glamorous with a pair of long leather gloves! They are also great when w...

What is GLAMOROUS??? Part I

What is Glamorous? We know that we all want to feel it, but how do we get there? This August 2010 cover of Harpers Bazaar shows Cameron Diaz looking, in my opinion, like the epitome of Glamour. Wouldn't you agree?    Don't think that you have to save Glamour strictly for evening. Below I have listed a few different ways that you too can look and feel just as Glamorous as Cameron, but maybe we just tone it down a little for your daytime look.   Shu Uemura Rouge Unlimited Red Collection  RD 165   Red lips can be very glamorous and can be worn during the day. Sometimes the right red can be difficult to find. There are millions of different red shades to choose from! Stick to a neutral red. One that is not too cool or too warm. I love the one by Shu Uemura pictured above. I had to have it when I learned that this was one of Madonna's top picks. The color is a neutral shade so it looks great on any skin tone and it will bring a little instant Glam into...

Pants, Pants, And More Pants!

As we all know, pants are always in style. But this fall prepare to look and feel your best when wearing the most current designs. The latest pant styles are more flattering than ever and there is a style for everyone. Designers are cutting them in a more streamlined fashion as to elongate the leg. Now why would we ever want our legs to look longer?! Now that's a silly question. Why wouldn't you? And why did it take so long for manufacturers to figure out that all of us just want to look good in our pants?!   {From left to right} Opening Ceremony, Rag and Bone, Balenciaga Elie Tahari Even Talbots has begun to pay attention to a more flattering cut in pants and a whole new and improved denim line. These trouser jeans made of a cotton and hemp mixture are one of my personal, can't live without, favorites . {From left to right} Gucci, Tory Burch
