I JUMP For Polka Dots!

 Okay, you can call me psychic. I have not worn this blouse by Julie Haus since last spring/summer, but I dug it out of the "best of Laura's Closet" archives yesterday not even knowing how much of a huge trend polka dots are right now! (according to style.com) Most ladies know that polka dots are always on trend, no matter what the season. They are one of those prints that we call CLASSIC, which is something that I am always drawn to without even knowing sometimes. CLASSICS are TIMELESS which is why they are a good investment.


Oooooooh, how fabulous are these! Both are by Miu Miu. 
As we all know, certain pieces give me heart palpitations. This polka dot chiffon blouse by Thakoon is one of them! GORGEOUS!
 I would totally carry this half moon cross body bag by Chloe Sevigny while wearing this effie polka dot blouse and pencil skirt by Kate Spade.

And I would totally sport this cuff bracelet by John Hardy while wearing this luxurious polka dot jumpsuit by Diane Von Furstenberg. Now I just need to catch the next flight to Barbados!

FALL for Flowers!

There are no rules in fashion. It's just about achieving a look that is your best and that you feel good in. Who says plaid is the only print you can wear in the fall? Now, don't get me wrong. The Necessary Black T-Shirt

I have to admit, I have not been getting dressed up much these days. I think it has something to do with just wanted to be comfortable. I have been sewing a ton of masks at The Maine Square   and it just feels better to not be confined in my clothing as I am cutting fabric and sewing. However, I do have to go out of the studio occasionally. Mostly it's to the mailbox, but sometimes it's to get more supplies and of course food. I don't mean to sound pretentious or anything, but I do think about how I look even when going out to do these quick errands. It makes me feel good to look half decent! Lately I have been opting for a simple black tee shirt and a pair of semi faded jeans. All I need to do it pop on a camel colored blazer and some ballet flats and I am good to go! Oh yeah, and I ALWAYS wear a mask when entering a public facility these days.
