Try Something New
As you may know, fashion is my passion. But it really goes deeper than that. I love to inspire and persuade people to move out of their comfort zone and try something new. We look at fashionable photos in magazines and we wish we could wear that. I work in retail and I can't even count how many times a day I hear a customer say, "that's not me" when I show her something that is a little different.
There is nothing wrong with knowing what you like and what you don't like. I often envy those who wear the same thing every day. They have identified themselves and have developed their personal style.
But there may come a time in your life when you are ready for a change. You may want to try the latest trend, but you are still skeptical. And it's okay. I am a fashion stylist and I feel the same! This year I am going to try the following two trends:
Color Blocking
Metallics
These are two trends that even as a stylist I don't believe I have ever tried before! I will be attempting to move out of my comfort zone a little so, you should to!
