Beautiful Belts!

Belts are not just for keeping your pants up anymore. As you have probably already noticed, ladies are sporting belts on the outside of cardigans, dresses, blouses, tunics, and t-shirts. Even our first lady seems to love this look! Belts make an outfit more interesting, but you have to beware. Just because belts are hip right now doesn't mean that every outfit deserves one. Mostly belts look nice on their own, meaning don't bother with a necklace if you choose to wear one. Keep the look clean. Another idea is to purchase a pretty ribbon (satin, grosgrain, etc.) at your fabric store and tie it in a pretty bow around your waist. I love this look. It's so simple yet very unique.
